A Trip to Elkhorn

Although the weather was dreary, there was still plenty to see and buy at the Elkhorn Flea Market located in Elkhorn, Wisconsin.  This market is held four times a year.  The remaining dates are June 26th, August 14th and September 25th.   If you happen to be in Wisconsin, make it a point to stop and shop - you won't be disappointed.  Be sure to check out the following vendors: Anything Goes Here, Gracie's Cottage and Altered Ever After.  They have great displays and wonderful merchandise.

Line numbers in a vintage display rack - this one was used for discount coupons.

Magnets were attached to small vintage license plates
to add interest to a display board.  

Old farm signs are hung together to add more impact.

Small Treasures

Another type of collectible - bits and pieces.  It's fun to use these small treasures in various projects - or just  display them to enjoy the colors, textures and forms.

What happened to spring?

Well, spring lasted about two days and we are now dealing with cold, blustery winds and rain.  It's weather like this that prompts me to take a coffee/tea break and relax with the latest copy of a favorite magazine or book. Time to settle in and continue the wait for warmer days and tulips...
