First Signs of Spring

Despite the fact that we still have snow on the ground, the robins have arrived, providing our first sign of spring.  Another sign: it's time to spring forward and set your clocks ahead...

 

Trip to Kane County Flea Market

Despite the blustery winter day, we managed to purchase lots of unique finds at the Kane County Flea Market on Saturday.  Take a peek at our Etsy shop this coming week for our newest offerings.

After a bit of a warm spell, we did not expect such cold weather.  Our thoughts turned to the snow disappearing and spring blooming once again...

A Favorite Collectible

I have a large collection of measuring tapes. I especially love the ones with advertising. These can still be found at antique malls, flea markets and thrift stores at a reasonable price. They look great displayed in cubbies.
